Yes. All courses lead to a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment under the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) framework. Your qualification is valid across every state and territory, so you can work anywhere in Australia once certified through our RTO (No. 91623).
Absolutely. Our online and virtual training covers the same nationally recognised units as the face-to-face sessions. You complete the theory in your own time and then join a virtual practical session, making it ideal for busy Sydneysiders who cannot commit to a fixed training day.
Each face-to-face session in Sydney runs for one full day. This covers both the theory and the hands-on practical component, including assessment. The Nationally Recognised course is slightly longer than the Standard course, so check individual course pages for exact durations before booking.
No prior electrical experience is required for the Standard or Nationally Recognised Test and Tag courses. They are designed for anyone who needs to inspect and test electrical equipment in the workplace, including tradespeople, facility managers, maintenance staff and safety officers across Sydney.
If you are new to test and tag, start with the Nationally Recognised or Standard course. If you already hold a current test and tag certificate, the Refresher course keeps your skills and compliance up to date. The Three Phase course suits those working with three-phase equipment, and the Plug Replacement course is an add-on for trained technicians wanting to expand their scope.
All training equipment and materials are provided on the day. You will use industry-standard portable appliance testers under the guidance of qualified trainers and assessors. You do not need to bring any tools or equipment to the Sydney sessions — just arrive ready to learn.
