Three Phase Training Course

Duration: Approximately 4 hours (including assessment)

This is an advanced Test & Tag course focused on 415V 3 phase electrical equipment and extension leads.

Prerequisite:

Participants must have already completed a recognised Test and Tag qualification under AS/NZS 3760 usually UEESS00174- Electrical Safety Testing of Electrical Cord Connected Equipment and Cord Assemblies Skill Set, comprising of UEERL0003 and UEECD0007.

The course runs for approximately 4 hours, including both training and assessment.

You’ll learn how to safely test 415V 3 phase equipment and extension leads, understand 3 phase systems, and use different types of testing equipment.

Throughout the course, you’ll develop an understanding of the limits of your responsibilities when testing electrical equipment. You’ll learn when equipment, faults, or tasks require assessment or repair by a licensed electrician or other suitably qualified person. as part of your training and assessment.

No, this course is not nationally accredited. However, it is approved by the Office of Fair Trading and provides 3 CPD points.
