Prior Test & Tag Training Required
Participants must have completed a recognised course in the inspection and testing of electrical equipment to AS/NZS 3760 and have been assessed as competent.
Understanding of SafeWork Guidelines
This course aligns with SafeWork guidance, which states that plug and socket replacement can be carried out by a non-electrically qualified person-provided they have been trained and assessed as competent according to manufacturer instructions.
Willingness to Complete Practical Tasks
You’ll be required to complete hands-on activities during the course, including constructing a single-phase extension lead as part of your assessment.
Basic Knowledge of Electrical Testing
As this is an advanced course, participants should already be familiar with basic Test & Tag procedures and safety practices.
Course Outcomes
