Description

What Is the Kyoritsu 4200 Earth Resistance Clamp?

The Kyoritsu 4200 is a clamp-method earth resistance tester that measures earth resistance without the need to disconnect the earth electrode or inject test current into the ground. Clamp around an earth conductor and get an accurate True RMS reading — faster, safer and less disruptive than traditional stake-method testing.

Three resistance ranges cover 20, 200 and 1500 ohms, handling everything from low-resistance earthing systems to higher-impedance installations. At 30A AC maximum and CAT IV 300V rated, it’s built for real-world electrical environments. IEC 61010 certified and supplied with a carry case, the Kyoritsu 4200 is a practical, professional choice for any electrician who performs regular earth resistance testing.
